- I have been in this great industry since 1988. I knew when I was a young girl I wanted to play with hair. When I was about 8 or 9 my childhood friend and I was playing "Beauty Parlor" and I was the hairstylist and she had hair down her back. Well I decided I was going to take a natural bristle round brush and wind it up to her nape and guess what happened next. She had to have her hair cut because her hair was stuck in the brush. This is no Lie. Needless to say 30 years have gone by and she still has not let me forgotten that scenerio and we still are friends today!!! But seriously I have such drive and passion for this fine industry that I admire all my fellow stylist and there is a whole bunch I can call my mentors. When I grow up I want to be this huge platform/guest artist call me whatever I just want to play with the big wigs in my long carreer hopefully. So if anyone wants to take me under they're wing I am there!!!

- SO far I have my hands in all kinds of different products. For color currently I am using Redken, Joico/Iso (which I am really beginning to love, it really is a beautiful color line as well as the K-pak styling and finishing line), I am about to invest in scruples line. I have also used Paul Mitchell, Loreal (which married Redken),Nioxin and Artego.

"Hair I am" My life as a Hairstylist turned Booth renter
My first foray into this magical land of hair had me working on a commission base salary. It was a happy time for me until I figuered out that I was giving the salon owners HALF MY STINKING PAY. One morning I woke up in a frenzy and realized I was making them some nice cash and I was doing all the work, not to mention that I was responsible for keeping the flow of dollars coming through the door each week, so therefore after a sleepless night left me with a huge wake up call.

Like yourself I have a passion for hair( must be due to the fact I have non) but seriuosly at 42 I still get the same buzz out of hair as when I started.
