"Once I stop learning, it's time to hang up the shears" is one of my favorite quotes! What I love about being a stylist is the evolution of hairdressing. We move forward while using the past as a stepping stone! I collect vintage hairdressing manuals and tools. My favorite styles are ones with a retro 40's flair and I love to brighten up the world with haircolor!! Styles that complicated are my passion!
i work at twenty one salon, a jpms focus salon in clayton nj, i am hoping to become an educator soon.

Ive talked to others and been to others but this one doesn't seem to know alot and I'm trying to help them but they just act like don't care. I've been there for 3 weeks and the salon has been there for 4 years.

awesome i don't know anone who has ever taken it but i am going to look into it. i liked rusk, i even applied with color mid-atlantic to be a rusk color educator, but i never heard back and then my boss decided to switch. so i am hoping to apply with pm to be an educator. but rusk and pm are probably the color lines i have gotten the most consistent results with. i did check out your page and i sent you a message.

The testing is somewhat hard but totally worth it. My advice would be to STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! It definitely gives you a better understanding of the why's and how's.
I am a Rusk fan myself- love the funky side of things :).
I don't know if I have noticed more success with PM but I like what they are about and thier education is excellent. I can work with any color line, if I have to, but I like the results I have been getting from PM.
I have some pics of my stuff on my MY Space if you get bored and want to check them out. myspace.com/tlshear
Nothing incedibly special- they are all from a few years ago- I REALLY need to update :).
Check out the Charity Hair Show listed on my page too :). It's going to be fun.

I work in a Salon in Edison NJ- we do carry a little bit of other lines but I exclusively use PM. I've been licensed about 15 yrs and I am also an American Board Certified Haircolorist :).
Where are you in South jersey?
